With a team of six highly motivated students at Université catholique de Louvain from different disciplines, we are asked to print an innovative object able to withstand high temperatures.

We chose to print a pair of pliers directly attached to the hand which will allow to avoid any direct contact with a toxic or hot environment. This innovation could be very useful in various fields such as research, cooking or cleaning.

The different materials to 3D-print this tool have been selected from a list of different available polymers at our University-lab.

The selection of the most adequate polymer has been done by performing extensive analysis based on readings/literature papers and experiments
